Pair of scagliola sculptures – Double-tailed winged sirens. Italy, 17th century.
Made entirely of scagliola, these replicas are statues from a Baroque villa. They depict a pair of bare-breasted, double-tailed winged sirens gazing into the sky.
Condition report: Professionally restored, they have some cracks and missing parts but excellent structural integrity.
