Walnut and burl veneered drop-leaf chest of drawers. Venice, 18th century.
Fully veneered in walnut and burl with softwood trim. The curved front features three central drawers, while the curved lower part conceals a writing compartment with four small drawers, a central door, and secret compartments. Original brass escutcheons and handles, and bracket feet.
