Display cabinet of serpentine form, veneered in dark wood and related timbers arranged in herringbone pattern, with a central bowed glazed door and curved glazed sides. The lower section features marquetry panels with flower basket motifs in light wood. Gilt bronze mounts of rocaille design — scrolls, foliage and cartouches — run along the top, corner columns and glazed frames. The shaped top and undulating bottom rail rest on cabriole legs. Silk-lined interior in ivory with three shelves. Louis XV revival cabinetwork, attributable to Parisian manufacture of the late 19th century.

Condition report: Generally good condition. Some small losses and breaks to the gilt bronze mounts. Minor surface wear to the veneer.
