Set of six carved and pierced walnut chairs. Venice, late 19th century.
A set of six chairs in carved and pierced walnut, made by a Venetian workshop in the second half of the 19th century, in the Louis XV taste.
The back is pierced with lattice motifs, the front legs cabriole, the seat in Vienna straw. The quality of the carving and the consistency of the set make it a decorative ensemble of good standard.
Condition report: Overall good state of preservation. The Vienna straw seats show some defects.
