Carved walnut armchair. Genoa, 18th century.
Finely carved walnut armchair, made in Genoa, dating to the third quarter of the 18th century. The frame features a contoured cartouche backrest, curved armrests with scrolled ends, a front crosspiece carved with rocaille motifs and a central flower, and cabriole legs with carved knee decorations. The carving features plant and rocaille motifs distributed along the uprights and the cornice. The brick red velvet upholstery is in good condition.
Condition report: Good overall condition, with normal signs of age.
