Description
Bronze inkwell with a dark patina. Northern Italy, 16th-17th century.
Made in two parts entirely of lost-wax cast and patinated bronze. The container is richly decorated with deep grooves, surmounted by the figure of a young man and supported by three telamons on a tripod base.
