Baroque frame in carved and gilded wood. Lombardy, 17th century.
Each frame is made entirely of carved and gilded wood. A thin frame opens onto a band carved with recurring leaves enclosed by ribbons at the centers, descends onto a smooth groove, and extends to the wall with a plant-like profile. The surface is decorated with a refined motif of repeated palmettes in neoclassical style (minor losses and wear).
