Along the Riva degli Schiavoni, figures in 19th-century attire come to life, alongside moored gondolas and sailing boats, while the background is framed by a sunset sky in shades of orange and pink. The liveliness of the figures and the atmospheric rendering recall the typical repertoire of early 19th-century Venetian landscape painters.<\/p>\n<p>Condition report: Paper mounted on canvas.
