Christ, crowned with thorns and draped in a white cloth, stands at the centre of the scene, surrounded by three tormentors rendered with vigorous, dynamic poses. The quality of execution, the luminous treatment of Christ&#8217;s figure, and the sculptural solidity of the figures point to a workshop of considerable skill, active within the master&#8217;s immediate circle.<\/p>\n<p>Condition report: Cradled panel. Good state of conservation of the painted surface, with traces of old restorations and wear.
