His erotic compositions, conceived for a cultivated and discerning clientele, combine the solidity of the Flemish tradition with the Symbolist taste prevalent in European sculpture at the turn of the century.<\/p>\n<p>The small group depicts two nude figures in an amorous pose. The modelling of the bodies reveals a strong anatomical command, while the chasing of the surface attests to the executive refinement characteristic of the artist&#8217;s output.<\/p>\n<p>Condition report: Good state of conservation.
